Professional Qualifications
- 1975: Graduated in Medicine and Surgery on July 21st 1975 at the "Università Degli Studi" in Florence.
- 1976: Military-service as S.Tenente Compl. in the Medical Corps of the Italian Military Airforce.
- 1977-1980: Assistant surgeon and then surgeon in the ASL10/A public health-service (under Dir. Prof. L.Boffi).
- 1980: Qualified as a Specialist in General Surgery on july 19th 1980 at the "Università Degli Studi" in Florence (under Dir. Prof. Luigi Tonelli).
- 1980-1984: Studied and practiced at the Department of Plastic-Surgery in the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (under Dir. Prof. Ivo Pitanguy).
- 1984: Qualified as a Specialist in Plastic-Surgery at the aforementioned University.
- 1985: Qualified as a Specialist in Plastic-Surgery also at the Catholic University of Rome 'Policlinico A. Gemelli' (under Dir. Prof. Giancarlo Castiglioni)
Professional Activities
Dr. Donnini who is fluent in four languages is a frequent guest-speaker at national and international congresses and conferences. He has published numerous articles in international and national medical-journals.
As a consultant-'journalist' he covered 'Medicine and Surgery', for many years, for the publishing house 'Rizzoli Editore' and for the national newspaper 'Corriere della Sera' as well as publishing countless pieces in the weekly magazines published by 'Gruppo Editoriale'.
He operates professionally in Florence where he is based.
